Don Tobias Loaiza has lived on the Medina farm almost his whole life. He inherited the land from his father and has continued the family’s coffee growing tradition. The Medina farm has a strategic and vital location as it borders the main road and the Itagüí San Ignacio River.
Tobias transitioned the farm to specialty coffee production five years ago, an essential change in his career. The positive economic impact has drawn higher prices for his coffee, redeeming his hard work and efforts to improve cup quality.
