“Driven by curiosity and the pursuit of better coffee, we started roasting – logging roast curves, tracking temperatures, and experimenting with every variable we could measure. What began as a side project quickly revealed a truth: coffee, when approached with science, can be extraordinary.
Over the years, that small experiment grew into a full-scale roastery serving Midland, Texas and beyond. Today, we roast in-house, source globally, and share coffee that’s as fresh as it is transparent. Sourcing
Our sourcing process includes:
- Scrupulously tasting hundreds of coffees across seasons and harvests to find top shelf coffees for our program
- Tracking origin and global harvest schedules align with peak freshness
- Building relationships with like-minded producers and importers, and paying premiums for quality
- Analyzing and measuring every potential coffee before it enters our program
Roasting
We utilize strict quality control systems and procedures to measure numerous different aspects of the roasting process, ensuring every roast highlights to the greatest potential the rich aromas and vibrant tastes each individual coffee and region. This process ensures that every cup of coffee you enjoy is fresh, flavorful, and crafted with care.
